Sir Keith Ajegbo - Lead Associate, Education

Sir Keith retired as Head of Deptford Green School in Lewisham, South East London in July 2006 following 20 years of headship. For his work in raising standards at the school and introducing innovative work in citizenship he was awarded the OBE in 1996 and knighted in the New Year's Honours List in 2007.

 

In April 2006 he was asked to lead the writing of a report on Diversity and Citizenship in the curriculum by the Secretary for State for Education. This was published in January 2007.

Sir Keith works with iCoCo as Lead Associate for Education and has played an important role in developing our work around the schools' duty to promote community cohesion and capacity building for head teachers and governors.
