Intercultural dialogue

Hands

This online resource guide is aimed at senior decision makers, policymakers and practioners working in the area of diversity, cohesion and intercultural dialogue.

The online resource guide outlines the theoretical underpinnings of intercultural dialogue and how this relates to the policy framework for tackling difference in the UK and internationally. The guide also offers planning and measuring tools in order to assess the impact ICD has had on individuals, the local community and society as a whole.

There is a comprehensive bank of national and international case studies illustrating approaches to ICD through themes such as arts, sports and faith.

For the first time this online resource guide also looks at what factors contribute to intercultural dialogue and the challenges and opportunities this agenda presents for those working in the British Council and others  in dealing with the most challenging contemporary issues of our day.
