Budget cuts are no excuse to stop addressing community tensions

The Institute of Community Cohesion (iCoCo) has highlighted the need for local authorities and their partners to continue work on building community cohesion, despite cuts in government funding.

Speaking about the new toolkit, at an exclusive reception at BT Tower, Shahid Malik MP said, "...the guide that you have put together will, I think, be of real benefit for employers, who can make sure that their recruitment policies and wider employment practices are helping to break down barriers and promote cohesion. British Council and iCoCo launch online intercultural dialogue guide

The British Council have launched a new guide on tackling difference. The Intercultural Dialogue online resource guide will, for the first time, give policy makers and practitioners around the woirld practical advice and good practice examples to support work on ICD. Read more...
